Our interpretation of pronation control is a feature that prevents the foot from probating, or rolling inwards. New Balance accomplishes this through the use of their roll bar technology and/or with medial posting. The faster one moves, often there is a tendency to roll in or pronate to a lrger extent. However, for some this feature can work against your natural walk/running stance and cause you to supponate or roll out. If in doubt please consult a footcare professional or other medical professional. A caution for those also using custom orthotic insoles: most custom insoles are based on a neutral stance so you may wear the orthotic in different shoes. If the orthotic prevents pronation, and shoe shoe also does the same, you may be over corrected. Again, if in doubt please consult a knowledgeable sales person or medical professional. For this reason our store will sell more product in the neutral category when used with orthotics.
