Our interpretation of a cross-trainer shoe is a multi-purpose shoe that offers support, cushioning, and offers side-to-side stability vs a runner which basically front-to-back .Ideal for the gym or just daily wear. Most of the cross-trainers are stiffer in the forfoot than a jogger, so we seldom recommend them for actual jogging.
